The CCN is committed to finding innovative ways to improve human lives and livelihoods while ensuring that good conservation will provide those same benefits for future generations. In the developing world, many communities have to resort to desperate measures to secure their day-to-day survival - measures that can destroy the natural resources upon which they depend. In collaboration with those communities, countries, and the private sector, we're looking for creative solutions to those challenges: solutions that will allow for development, economic growth, and bettered lives through the effective and efficient use of what resources exist.
